What you’ll do:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Development Manager to join the Network & Property Development team. Reporting to the Head of Franchise Network Development, you will lead network‑related activities across Australia, championing the expansion and performance of all Wesfarmers Health retail pharmacy brands—including Priceline Pharmacy, InstantScripts Health Hub and Pharmacy 4 Less.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, shaping our market presence, and driving the successful launch and development of new pharmacies nationally.
This role can be based in either Brisbane (preferred) or Sydney.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the national pipeline of franchise conversions, independent acquisitions, greenfield sites, and new‑to‑network opportunities
- Managing and reporting on national growth budgets, with proactive identification of risks and opportunities
- Conducting detailed site assessments including demographics, trade area insights, competitive reviews and financial performance modelling
- Working closely with Corporate Leasing, Store Development, Marketing and Operations to progress sites from lead to opening
- Representing Wesfarmers Health across the industry through conferences, events and engagement with key pharmacy stakeholders
- Building strong, trust‑based relationships with franchisees, independent owners, pharmacists, accountants, finance partners and industry advisors
- Educating the industry about the benefits of our brands and lifting our national presence through events, presentations and targeted B2B initiatives

What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in sales of which 5 years spent in retail, franchise or management roles
- Proven experience in franchise development and/or retail network growth is essential
- Experience in the pharmacy sector is highly regarded
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools as well as CRM Management Experience
- High attention to detail and with excellent time management skills
- Experience in developing Management Reports
- Operational Experience preferable
- Intermediate knowledge of the franchise code of conduct
- Demonstrate high level of commercial acumen
- Deep understanding of profit and loss reporting
- Bachelor Degree preferable but not essential
