What you’ll do:

Based at our state-of-the-art Fulfilment Centre in Marsden Park, you’ll join our team as a Team Leader on the PM shift (2pm to 10pm), providing day-to-day leadership and support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the warehouse.

You’ll use your strong knowledge of warehouse operations to coordinate team activities, support operational requirements and provide guidance to team members. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining effective communication, managing workforce requirements and supporting administrative processes.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to a team of warehouse employees
• Coordinate labour requirements to support operational needs
• Open and close the warehouse as required
• Manage timesheets and time and attendance processes for payroll purposes, including relevant approvals
• Provide administrative support to department functions, including processing invoices for payment
• Manage and address escalated performance matters as required
• Communicate effectively with team members and key stakeholders
• Apply a sound knowledge of warehouse operations, processes and products in day-to-day activities
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of Distribution Centre duties performed at lower grade levels
• Exercise appropriate judgement and discretion within the scope of the Team Leader role

What you’ll bring:

• A passion for safety, health and wellbeing of team members
• Previous experience leading teams in a warehouse/DC environment, and has a good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong team-player who champions an inclusive culture and can drive team values
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage warehouse staff
• Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple accountabilities through to completion
• Strong problems solving skills, with the ability to utilize ‘Plan, Do, Check, Act’ principles
• Proven ability to drive improvements through strong communication and clear delivery of plans within the departments
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to influence outcomes
