What you’ll do:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to join our national Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind building capability across our national Distribution Centre network.

 

You’ll design and deliver impactful training strategies that enable our teams to adapt, perform and thrive in a fast-evolving operational environment, supporting large-scale transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Design and implement a national training strategy aligned with our supply chain transformation roadmap
  • Identify capability gaps and develop targeted training programs that improve operational performance and safety outcomes
  • Create engaging, scalable learning solutions across multiple formats including instructor-led, virtual and digital training
  • Partner closely with Operations, HR, and Continuous Improvement teams to embed training into core business processes
  • Lead the development of role-specific training frameworks across distribution centres, ensuring consistency at scale
  • Manage and optimise learning technologies, including LMS platforms, to support effective delivery and tracking
  • Use data and insights to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously refine programs
  • Ensure all training meets compliance, regulatory and safety standards, including audit readiness
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment (required)
  • Relevant degree diploma or tertiary education (desired)
  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (required)
  • Demonstrated experience of training and development, preferably in a complex, industrial multi-site environment
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale training programs
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Good commercial acumen and demonstrated management of training budgets
  • Advanced skills in learning technologies and digital training platforms
  • Experience supporting organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Change management expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Project management proficiency
  • Flexibility for regular interstate travel
