- Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate strategy into delivery roadmaps
- Manage portfolio demand, prioritisation, and capacity planning
- Lead and develop a team of delivery professionals, fostering a “One Team” culture
- Oversee vendor and third-party delivery partners, ensuring performance against SLAs
- Champion workforce transition initiatives to build sustainable, internal delivery capability
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in IT program or project delivery, with at least 3 years in a people leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated experience leading full IT project lifecycle delivery across a variety of projects in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Proven experience in retail, pharmacy, or health sector technology delivery (highly desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience delivering across retail technology domains — including Loyalty Management Systems, eCommerce platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud), POS, and data/analytics platforms (advantageous).
- Experience with vendor management, RFI/RFP execution, and third-party contract governance.
- Experience managing blended delivery teams spanning permanent staff, contractors, and offshore / managed service providers.
- Exposure to cloud technologies including SAP Commerce Cloud, AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Comfort operating within a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) framework — including awareness of Capex/Opex capitalisation, contractor rate benchmarking, and workforce cost management.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline (required).
- Postgraduate qualification in Technology, Business, or Project Management (desirable).
- Project Management certification — PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent (required).
- Agile / SAFe certification (desirable).
