What you’ll do:

 

We are growing our Permanent team! We are seeking a people centric, solution focused Senior People Advisor with 5+ years’ experience in Employee Relations / Business Partnering to join our People Advisory Team.

 

In this role you will provide expert, pragmatic advice to leaders across complex and sensitive people matters. This role is a trusted partner to the business, supporting end‑to‑end ER case management including performance management, misconduct, investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and terminations. You will bring strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial instruments and best‑practice ER frameworks, with the confidence to coach leaders through risk‑balanced, fair and commercially sound outcomes.

 

In addition to this, you’ll act as an escalation point for our offshore team. Success in this role requires excellent judgement, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping consistent ER practices, lifting leader capability and contributing to a positive and compliant workplace culture.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Leading complex case management across investigations, grievances, performance matters and non - work related injury cases
  • Providing specialist ER advice and foundational interpretation of industrial instruments
  • Coaching and guiding leaders across the business to navigate people issues confidently
  • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of processes, tools and resources to enable self-service and build capability
  • Contributing to people reporting, insights and analytics in partnership with key stakeholders

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • 5 years plus experience in an advisory role in a medium to larger organisation or P&C Business Partner / ER Specialist role who has managed a diverse range of people matters
  • Proven track record on managing workplace investigations / Grievances / non work-related injury management
  • Customer focused with an ability to work with a range of people at all levels
  • Proven track record in coaching leaders and seeking resolution of complex people problems using ER knowledge. 
  • Expert knowledge of modern awards, employment legislation and National Employment Standards
  • High attention to detail and with excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills dealing with a variety of stakeholders from employees to senior managers
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline  
  • Accreditation in coaching/dispute resolution
