What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a Senior Commercial Manager – Supply Chain to provide commercial leadership across our distribution centres and transport network. Reporting to the General Manager – Commercial Finance, this role is a key strategic partner to the GM Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership Team. You will lead the end‑to‑end commercial and financial management of supply chain operations, while driving performance, accountability and continuous improvement. You’ll lead a high‑performing commercial team and play a critical role in shaping strategy, strengthening financial frameworks, and turning insight into action across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business case development.

This is a senior role suited to a commercially sharp leader who thrives in complexity, enjoys influencing at scale, and can think strategically while maintaining a strong grasp of operational detail.

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Act as a strategic commercial partner to Supply Chain leadership
• Own P&L management, forecasting, budgeting and long‑range planning
• Lead financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case development
• Provide insightful performance reporting and actionable recommendations
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and network efficiency
• Support strategic initiatives and capital investment decisions
• Build and lead a capable commercial team and foster strong cross‑functional partnerships

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in senior commercial finance or business partnering roles
• Strong supply chain experience within retail or wholesale environments
• Proven leadership capability and stakeholder influence at executive level
• Deep expertise in management accounting, planning, forecasting and performance reporting
• Advanced financial modelling skills and Excel capability
• Experience evaluating projects using NPV, ROC and similar methodologies
• Strong systems experience (SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI advantageous)
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CA qualification essential
