What you’ll do:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Release Train Engineer to join our Marketing, eCommerce & Loyalty Technology team.Reporting to the Digital Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the ongoing growth and evolution of our digital portfolio across Marketing, eCommerce and Loyalty. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple teams and technologies while contributing to the successful delivery of strategic digital programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate delivery alignment across Marketing, eCommerce and Loyalty squads, ensuring priorities, risks and dependencies are actively managed
- Support squad-level roles with backlog readiness, sprint execution, delivery planning and stakeholder alignment
- Coordinate delivery across onshore teams and offshore vendor partners to support integrated release planning and execution
- Maintain delivery cadence, agile ceremonies, ways of working and governance practices across squads
- Support quarterly, release and sprint planning activities, aligning scope, capacity, milestones and delivery commitments
- Maintain release plans, RAID registers, dependency maps, status reporting and decision logs across initiatives
- Coordinate dependencies across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Cyber Security, Data, Service Management and vendor delivery teams
- Identify delivery risks, blockers and improvement opportunities, providing clear recommendations and escalation where required
- Provide coaching and guidance to delivery teams to strengthen agile maturity, collaboration and delivery consistency
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years' experience in digital delivery, agile delivery, release train coordination, project delivery, business analysis, or technology delivery roles
- Experience supporting or coordinating multiple squads, delivery workstreams or cross-functional technology initiatives
- Experience facilitating cross-squad planning, dependency management, release coordination and delivery cadence across multiple agile teams
- Experience working with onshore and offshore delivery teams, including vendor partner coordination, delivery governance and escalation management
- Experience across marketing technology, eCommerce, digital web, mobile app, CRM, campaign, loyalty, retail or customer-facing technology platforms desirable
- Strong understanding of agile delivery practices, squad ceremonies, backlog readiness, estimation, dependency management, release planning, release readiness and delivery reporting
- Experience supporting Business Analyst functions to improve delivery discipline, stakeholder alignment and squad maturity
- Demonstrated experience managing delivery risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and trade-offs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate delivery complexity into clear updates for product, technology and vendor stakeholders
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, delivery dashboards, RAID logs, dependency trackers and reporting artefacts
- Vendor management, digital delivery, IT service management or change/release management experience will be highly regarded
- Bachelor's degree in technology, Business, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred but not essential
- Agile, Release Train Engineer, delivery management, project management, or product delivery certification desirable
