What you’ll do:

 

We have an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity covering parental leave for an experienced and customer-focused People Operations Lead to join our People Services team.

 

Reporting to the People Services Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of people operations processes across the employee lifecycle, while ensuring a seamless, compliant, and high-quality experience for team members and stakeholders.

 

Working closely with Payroll, People Systems, Remuneration, Talent, and business leaders, you will act as the key escalation point for our offshore service delivery team. You will drive operational excellence, governance, continuous improvement, and exceptional service outcomes across the organisation.

 

Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Oversee People Operations services across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, leave administration and offboarding
  • Monitor service delivery standards, ensuring high levels of quality, accuracy and timely completion of people transactions
  • Establish, track and enhance service levels, KPIs and operational performance metrics to drive service excellence
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industrial instruments, Right to Work requirements and internal governance standards
  • Maintain the integrity of employee data and organisational structures within SAP SuccessFactors
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation, standardisation and automation opportunities
  • Analyse operational and KPI data to provide insights and recommendations that enhance service quality, efficiency and employee experience

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Experience in HR Operations, Shared Services or People Services environments
  • Clear understanding of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, ideally SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability
  • Experience working with or overseeing outsourced service providers will be preferred
  • Audit/compliance, or project implementation experience will be highly regarded
