What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a senior, business‑led transformation executive to lead enterprise‑wide change across Wesfarmers Health in the role of Head of Program Management – Transformation Initiatives.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will own the business outcomes, benefits realisation and executive decision‑making associated with our SAP Transformation Program and broader transformation agenda. You will ensure the program remains firmly focused on business value — shaping direction, priorities and trade‑offs while guiding the organisation through complex, large‑scale change.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, transformation and delivery, you will partner closely with executive leaders across Finance, Technology and the broader business to enable decisions, manage risk and maintain strong enterprise alignment.

In this key role, you will:

  • Own business outcomes and value realisation for a complex, multi‑stream, SAP‑enabled transformation program, including benefits realisation, funding approvals, executive decision‑making and Board‑level governance
  • Set clear strategic direction, priorities and trade‑offs, remaining accountable to the Program Sponsor, Executive Committee and Board, with a relentless focus on enterprise value, stakeholder alignment and critical dependencies
  • Ensure the program remains business‑led, retaining clear ownership of scope, outcomes and success measures, and preventing over‑focus on technical delivery at the expense of business objectives
  • Partner with executive leaders across the enterprise to enable timely, high‑quality decisions and secure sustained organisational commitment
  • Facilitate and govern key business process decisions throughout the transformation, ensuring future‑state processes reflect best practice rather than legacy ways of working
  • Actively manage and mitigate program risk, including risks related to unclear business scope, limited business engagement, or erosion of business accountability during delivery
  • Work across all stakeholder groups, to resolve conflicts between delivery efficiency and business value, ensuring outcomes always take precedence
  • Define, track and realise clear success metrics, including adoption, performance uplift, benefits delivery and long‑term value realisation
  • Identify and drive opportunities to simplify processes, reduce cost and improve operational effectiveness, enabled by SAP but grounded in business outcomes
  • Lead operating‑model transformation, including optimisation of onshore and offshore capabilities, to sustainably improve productivity, efficiency and service quality
  • Develop and lead high‑performing transformation and program teams, aligned to future‑state capabilities and enterprise priorities

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of complex program management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale transformation initiatives within a complex matrix organisation
  • Experience in relevant industry contexts, e.g. organisational restructuring, digital transformation, operational excellence, offshoring
  • Experience in a fast-paced Industry
  • Consulting background (preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent project management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication across all mediums and stakeholder groups within the business
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree required with MBA or other advanced degree highly regarded

Why us?

  • Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including team member discounts at Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Officeworks, OnePass, Priceline, atomica and Clear Skincare Clinics
  • Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health Division and the broader Wesfarmers Group
  • Novated leasing options
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - available to all team members and their immediate family members, 24/7, 365 days a year

  • Food, coffee and health & wellbeing facilities onsite including a landlord operated gym
  • Dedicated end of trip facilities (cycle racks, showers, lockers)
