What you’ll do:
We are seeking an Inbound Manager for our Melbourne Distribution Centre located in Dandenong South, VIC. This role entails overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations within the receiving area, from managing warehouse layout to ensuring timely unloading and receipting of inbound loads. You will be responsible for reporting product quality issues and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accurate dispatch aligned with DIFOT requirements. Additionally, managing freight partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery is crucial.
The role involves planning, organising, and coordinating staff to manage daily workloads, while also leading and motivating teams to foster a high-performing and positive work culture. Continuous improvement projects, particularly focusing on automation, will be a key aspect of the role. The Inbound Manager will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the warehouse team.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ Years’ experience managing in a warehouse/DC environment
- You will be a strong team-player who champions an inclusive culture and can drive team values
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage warehouse staff
- Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple accountabilities through to completion
- Strong problems solving skills, with the ability to utilise ‘Plan, Do, Check, Act’ principles
- Proven ability to drive manufacturing improvements through strong communication and clear delivery of plans within the departments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to influence outcomes
