As the Fulfillment Centre Manager, this senior leadership role will oversee the operations of our state-of-the-art automated Sydney Fulfilment Centre (SFC) located in Marsden Park which is approximately 49 kms from Sydney CBD.

 

In this role, you will ensure the efficient and quality-assured distribution of pharmaceutical and health & beauty products. You’ll lead a team of skilled professionals, driving site performance to meet critical safety, service, cost, cultural and continuous improvement KPIs while ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Operational Excellence: Lead the site leadership team to deliver optimal warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with our Supply Chain Strategy, budget and safety targets.
  • People Leadership: Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and engagement, driving team performance through effective leadership and development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Work closely with Pharmacy, Priceline, and external partners to maintain strong relationships and ensure high levels of service delivery.
  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Use data to drive innovation and strategy, ensuring the Distribution Centre is at the forefront of supply chain management.
  • Managing Compliance: Proactively lead and manage compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies ensuring systems are in place for effective monitoring and management.

 

What you’ll bring:

 

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will be crucial in driving operational success and strategic initiatives.

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
  • Significant senior management experience in supply chain and logistics with responsibility for meeting financial customer people and safety targets Demonstrated delivery of transformation and change initiatives and continuous improvement in a large organisation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of robotics, conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and other automated machinery
  • Qualifications and experience in Lean / Six Sigma continuous improvement methodology (preferred)
  • Experience in maintaining compliance within a heavily regulated industry (pharmaceutical experience preferred but not essential).
