What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly motivated Branch Manager to lead the safe, efficient and cost effective operations of the Branch on a day-to day basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Branch consistently meets all service targets for both internal and external customers by fostering effective collaboration across all teams within the Branch.
In this key leadership role, the Branch Manager will lead by example and ensure that all managers have the appropriate coaching, direction and support for them to facilitate the successful achievement of the Branch’s performance and cultural objectives.
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Accountable for the overall performance management, development/education, succession planning and teamwork of the team
- Seeking and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Understand the drivers to all key service KPIs and take responsibility to ensure their achievement – through setting clear objectives, ensuring efficient planning, developing effective tactics and ensuring the execution of processes and procedures
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers by delivering KPIs and maintaining positive working relationships
- Ensure the achievement of DIFOT targets for both Retail and Pharmacy divisions
- Process monitor and control actual costs against budget to ensure cost targets are achieved
- Demonstrates and drive safe behaviours by giving clear direction, setting and enforcing standards and delivering a consistent message
- Ensure all work practices meet company standards, relevant compliance obligations and relevant laws
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in the Operational Management of a logistics or production facility
- Ideal experience from Pharmacy or FMCG supply chains
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a workforce within a unionised site
- Demonstrated understanding of Health and Safety, Inventory management ,Finance, reporting and data analysis & Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong coaching skills
- Project and Change Management with Sound contract management skills
- Strong relationship management skills with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Tertiary qualification in Supply chain or Business related discipline
