What you’ll do:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wholesale Category Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will take ownership of quality, drive category growth by identifying strategic opportunities, analyse market trends converting to actions, and manage budgets with financial partners to meet P&L targets. With deep expertise in category management and strategic sourcing, you will be responsible for the overall performance and growth of the category portfolio.

What you’ll bring:
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Category Manager, Buying/Merchandise Manager, or Account/Business Manager, with extensive knowledge of category management best practices.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
- A natural ability to build and nurture supplier partnerships, driving value for our customers and business.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of successful negotiations.
- A strong understanding of inventory management processes, including demand planning & forecasting and supplier management.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire through influential leadership, fostering high-performing teams
- Exemplary multitasking and organisational skills, enabling effective management of multiple priorities.
- Desirable background in the pharmacy or FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business systems, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Tertiary qualifications (Business, Marketing or Retail)
