What you’ll do:

 

We’re looking for a customer focused and results-driven Senior Product Development Manager to lead a team and drive commercial delivery of private label ranges across our Health categories.

 

Reporting to the Head of Private Label, this role is responsible for the development of a 2-3 year product development roadmap and building strong relationships with our suppliers to launch affordable, high quality product ranges which our customers will love.

A little about the Private Label team:

 

Private label is a key pillar of our business strategy and is on an exciting growth journey.   Our private label team develop products across a wide range of beauty and health categories which are sold in both our retail and wholesale division (including Priceline, Priceline Pharmacy, independent wholesale pharmacy customers and our latest retail formats atomica and Instant Scrips Pharmacy Health Hub).

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Product Development Manager/ Lead Product Developer or Senior Category Manager/ Buying Manager
  • Experience in a retail environment is highly preferred
  • Prior experience in health/personal care/baby care or wellbeing categories preferred
  • Proven experience in people leadership
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills to ensure the best commercial outcome
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Experience of working closely with inventory management teams, including demand planning & forecasting
  • Experience of FOB sourcing preferred
  • Experience in the end-to-end product development lifecycle and stage gate process
  • Ability to analyse large sets of data and draw conclusive insights with high attention to detail
  • Customer focused & experienced in identifying product trends
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Retail preferred but not essential
