What you’ll do:
We're looking for a passionate data expert to build high-quality, secure, and scalable data systems who has experience with Snowflake data platform, DBT transformations and data warehouses.
Working within the Digital and Data team, you will lead the design, build, deployment and maintenance of data management solutions to ensure data users can access timely and accurate information in a secure, efficient, and reliable manner.
What you’ll bring:
- Prior experience with Snowflake, DBT and data warehousing is mandatory.
- Proven 4 – 7 years+ hands-on experience in cloud-based data engineering and architecture, including data warehousing, ELT pipelines, data modelling, data management and business intelligence.
- Expert SQL and supporting programming skills (e.g. Java, Python).
- Airflow and AWS Cloud platform skills are highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of DBMS, data modelling and business intelligence principles and practices.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
- Excellent communicator (verbally and written) with the ability of organising and simplifying complex ideas into easily understandable format for technical and non-technical audience.
- Ability to self-manage, problem-solve independently, but also work well as a team player.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
