What you’ll do:

 

Join us at the forefront of beauty retail as a Senior Category Manager for atomica, Wesfarmers Health’s newest and most dynamic format. In this pivotal role, you’ll:

 

  • Take ownership of commercial performance, driving profitable growth and shaping the future of atomica.
  • Develop and execute innovative category strategies, building curated product portfolios that delight our customers.
  • Forge and nurture strategic supplier partnerships, unlocking new value and supporting our ambitious expansion plans.
  • Leverage customer insights and advanced analytics to inform pricing, range, and space decisions, ensuring atomica stands out in the market.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across the business, delivering high-impact projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement, learning from every success and challenge to optimise our offering.
  • Present your vision and results to senior leadership, securing support to accelerate atomica’s growth.

 

This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic thinking, cross functional project management, commercial acumen, and creative leadership in a role that will shape the future of beauty retail in Australia.

 

What you’ll bring:

 

We’re seeking a passionate and driven commercial leader who is ready to make a mark. You’ll bring:

 

  • Proven expertise in beauty retail or a similar commercial environment, with a strong track record in category management, buying, or commercial roles.
  • Experience in small-format or convenience retail, and a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Advanced procurement and category management qualifications.
  • Strategic thinking, commercial judgement, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder influencing skills, including the ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Outstanding organisation and multi-tasking abilities, thriving in fast-paced, agile environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and category management systems.
  • Experience with pharmacy and/or franchise business models (desirable).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
