What you’ll do:
We have a key opportunity for a Payroll Transformation Manager to join our People Operations & Advisory team. Reporting to the Head of People Operations & Advisory, this pivotal role will see you lead the Payroll Operations and Governance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance, and project delivery. This is a dynamic, high impact role with the responsibility to improve processes, systems, and controls to reduce risk and drive efficiency.
Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the accurate and on time delivery of all pay runs
- Design, develop and implement pay compliance maturity initiatives
- Drive automation and optimisation
- Initiate and manage payroll projects
- Uplift capability and awareness through proactive stakeholder engagement

What you’ll bring:
- 15 years’ experience working with payroll or payroll consulting, ideally in a fast paced environment
- Expertise working with complex, large volume, multi-entity, multi-state organisations
- Deep understanding of industrial instruments, legislation and employer obligations
- Possesses advanced proficiency in Excel
- Customer focused with an ability to work with a range of people at all levels
- Leadership of complex programs of work and change management
- Proven experience in the delivery of pay compliance programs
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Finance highly desirable
