Location: Docklands, VIC, AU

Company: Wesfarmers Health

At Wesfarmers Health we strive to make health, beauty and wellness experiences simpler, more affordable and easier to access for all Australians.

Our portfolio includes well-known names like Priceline, as well as our MediAesthetics brands - Clear Skincare Clinics and SILK Laser Clinics. In the digital space, we’re proud to have SISU Health and InstantScripts—and most recently, we’ve launched our newest retail beauty stores, atomica.

About us:

What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.

Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.

What you’ll do:

We're looking for a creative wordsmith to join our team as a Communications Specialist and make Sister Club the highlight of our members' inboxes.  This is a 12-month parental leave contract reporting to the Senior Manager – Loyalty and CRM.

You'll be the creative force behind our member communications – from crafting compelling emails to developing campaign concepts that drive engagement. Working in a dynamic retail environment, you'll bring fresh thinking to how we talk to our millions of Sister Club members, whilst juggling the demands of sales events, partnership activations, and everything in between.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the charge on campaign briefing – working with internal teams and external partners to ensure every email brief is clear, inspiring, and sets creative work up for success
  • Writing email and SMS communications that cut through the noise and genuinely resonate with members
  • Partnering with our Retail Media and Loyalty Partnerships teams to develop creative assets that bring partner campaigns to life
  • Keeping a finger on the pulse of campaign performance, digging into the data to understand what's working and what's not, then using those insights to make the next campaign even better

What you’ll bring:

  • A background in marketing or communications where you've flexed your creative muscles
  • Demonstrated experience crafting email communications that people actually open and act on
  • A track record of briefing creative work and collaborating with designers to bring concepts to life
  • Sharp copywriting skills with an eagle eye for detail (because typos in member comms are nobody's friend)
  • The ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both in writing and in conversation
  • Cool-headedness when deadlines are tight and multiple projects are competing for attention
  • Up-to-date knowledge of what makes digital communications work in today's landscape
  • A knack for coming up with ideas that make people sit up and take notice
  • Bonus points if you understand loyalty programs, but we're more interested in your creative thinking and communication chops
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Why us?

  • Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including team member discounts at Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Officeworks, OnePass, Priceline and Clear Skincare Clinics.
  • Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health Division and the broader Wesfarmers Group.
  • Novated leasing options
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - available to all team members and their immediate family members, 24/7, 365 days a year
  • Beautiful outdoor terrace for work and recreation.
  • Food, coffee and health & wellbeing facilities onsite including a landlord operated gym
  • Dedicated end of trip facilities (cycle racks, showers, lockers).
