What you’ll do:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to join the Wholesale team. Reporting to the General Manager, Supply Chain, the Head of Network Development will be part of the senior leadership team tasked with delivering the future Distribution Centre (DC) network in support of the Business' 5-year objectives and roadmap. You will lead the Network Development team and DC Facilities Management and be integral to bringing these lifecycle transformation projects to life - from business case development through to building and operationalising highly automated and non-automated DCs.
Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy for the network, aligning with company objectives and market demands
- Identify opportunities for innovation in warehousing operations, distribution methodologies, and supply chain management
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure expectations for delivery on large / complex projects are met or managed appropriately
- Lead the scope and commercial negotiations with vendors and various other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are delivered
- Analyse existing network capabilities and identify gaps requiring transformation
- Lead redesign of warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space utilization and productivity in new distribution centres
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution operations
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles driving transformational change
- Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale operational improvements
- Experience with warehouse automation and technology implementation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities with the ability to influence at senior level
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
