What you’ll do:

 

We’re seeking a driven, hands-on Finance Projects Lead to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager – Transformation and Integration, to support the smooth delivery of end-to-end finance processes associated with the integration of business acquisitions, Finance transformation initiatives, and broader strategic priorities. You'll be driving operational and process improvements, while coordinating and overseeing the execution of key finance projects.

 

You will also be responsible for:

 

  • Leading and supporting process and system integration and upgrade projects across finance functions, building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Supporting financial due diligence and Purchase Price Allocation process, including analysis preparation, reporting schedules, and liaising with stakeholders, auditors, and advisors
  • Preparation of documentation for processes, policies and accounting papers for review as required

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Demonstrated experience working in large, fast-paced businesses with 5-7 years ‘ post qualification experience
  • Extensive practical experience within industry, ideally in retail and pharmacy (leading projects is desirable)
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and curious mindset with the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally, supporting multiple initiatives
  • Ability to build strong working relationships to achieve objectives with a range of stakeholders at all levels with an ability to influence others
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong Excel skills
  • Experience using large ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not mandatory
  • CA / CPA qualification
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
