What you’ll do:

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Scientist to join the Data and Analytics team. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for analysing data to uncover key trends and patterns, enabling informed decision-making that supports both customer satisfaction and commercial growth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering measurable, positive impact on business outcomes across the organisation. 

Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Unified Data Models: Create and maintain data models that serve as the single source of truth across the business. You’ll link, transform, and make data accessible to both technical and non-technical users.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities. You’ll turn data into actionable insights that influence business decisions.
• Business Engagement: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring your insights are presented clearly and drive impactful actions.
• Team Collaboration: Lead and guide collaboration within the data analytics team, sharing knowledge and fostering growth while ensuring the timely delivery of data solutions.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven hands-on data analytics experience, in a Retail or Pharmaceuticals environment would be highlight regarded
• Strong experience in data modelling and ETL processes
• Advanced SQL proficiency; proficiency in R or Python and experience with data science tools such as Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn
• Proficient with Snowflake, GCP, Looker and BigQuery
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
• Expertise in data profiling, visualisation, statistical analysis/modelling.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into impactful business insight
• Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer/Data Science
