What you’ll do:

 

We’re seeking a Commercial Strategy Business Partner to join our Commercial Excellence team in the Pharmacy and Retail business unit, in a high-impact, growth-focused role. You’ll lead strategic initiatives, deliver actionable insights, and collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Sales, Merchandise, eCommerce and Supply Chain to solve complex challenges, unlock new opportunities, and drive commercial excellence.

 

Reporting to the Senior Strategy Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the Pharmacy and Retail business, delivering high-impact business strategies, market insights and Board communications that influence executive decisions.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Work closely with the MD and Executive Team to develop impactful business unit strategies and corporate planning initiatives
  • Lead high-profile strategic projects and workstreams, and conduct commercial due diligence to drive business growth
  • Develop robust commercial and financial analyses to support high stakes decisions
  • Monitor market trends and identify competitive threats and growth opportunities

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Proven experience in a top-tier consulting firm, M&A Corporate Strategy or Business Development role.
  • Experience in defining, running, and delivering strategic analyses independently or as part of a team.
  • Mastery of the strategy toolkit, with strong problem-solving, research, and financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate with impact and experience in writing or contributing to Board-level presentations and reports
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills demonstrated success in coordinating cross-functional teams and in influencing decisions at the senior management level.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and pragmatic approach
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, or related discipline, with consistent outstanding academic record.
