What you’ll do:

 

We’re looking for a commercially savvy, influential and outcomes‑driven Commercial Manager – Supply Chain to play a critical role in driving performance across our distribution centres and transport network.

 

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager – Supply Chain, you’ll partner closely with DC and transport leadership teams to strengthen commercial decision‑making, optimise performance, and shape the financial frameworks that support our supply chain operations.

 

You’ll own the end‑to‑end commercial stewardship of our DCs and transport—including P&Ls, capital expenditure, business case development, performance reporting, planning cycles, and providing strategic insights that lift accountability, efficiency and financial outcomes.

 

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex environments, brings structure to ambiguity, simplifies complexity, and can influence stakeholders at every level. You’ll be a trusted advisor who blends commercial acumen with exceptional communication, analytical depth and the ability to drive positive change at pace.

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced and high performing commercial finance roles
  • Supply chain and/or distribution centre related experience an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in a genuinely commercial role covering performance insights and business planning and budgeting.
  • Experience in financial evaluation of projects and initiatives and the preparation of formal business cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide value adding commercial and business advice to senior management.
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships between support and business functions.
  • The ability to navigate in ambiguous environments by initiating changes and adding structure and rigour to commercial and financial processes. 
  • Skilled at developing performance metrics, financial analysis, and financial reports that guide decisions and drive business performance. 
  • Advanced Excel and extensive financial modelling experience with large and multiple data sources
  • Experience in financial evaluation of projects (NPV, ROC etc.) and initiatives and the preparation of formal business cases
  • Experience using large ERP systems & BI tools (SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI advantageous). 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • CPA/CA qualification
