What you’ll do:

 

We have an exciting newly created opportunity within our Pharmacy & Retail division, supporting the FP&A function. As a Commercial Analyst-FP&A, you’ll drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, delivering insights that help shape strategic decisions. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you’ll play a key role in corporate planning, business reviews, and risk tracking, while leading initiatives to improve reporting and implement systems, including the rollout of Power BI.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Supporting end-to-end forecasting requirements within the Commercial Finance teams
  • Delivering weekly trade performance insights
  •  Preparing month end reports, variance analysis, board level commentary
  • Coordinating the annual budget and corporate planning processes, including managing timetables, stakeholder engagement, and deliverables
  • Driving continuous improvement in reporting, planning, and forecasting processes and supporting the rollout of Power BI
  • Building trusted business partnerships with commercial finance, Group finance, and operational teams.

 

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Proven experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar analytical finance role.
  • Strong financial modelling and scenario analysis capability.
  • Proven business partnering skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficient in ERP and BI tools (experience in SAP, BPC, PowerBI is highly regarded).
  • Critical and objective thinker with strong, cross functional problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • CPA/CA qualification
  • Experience within FMCG, Retail or Pharmaceutical industries and/or at an ASX listed company is advantageous.
