What you’ll do:

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a parental leave. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our Haircare & Grooming portfolio—supporting day-to-day operations, executing existing plans, and ensuring smooth category performance. Your experience will help keep things on track, while contributing fresh ideas and providing steady leadership to the team during this period.

What you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Category Manager, Buying/Merchandise Manager, or Account Manager.
• Desirable background in the Pharmaceutical/Beauty industry, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of government and scheme compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills to derive valuable insights from complex customer data and adeptly present them alongside creative and strategic solutions.
• Profound commercial acumen and extensive financial knowledge specifically within the category management realm.
• In-depth expertise in procurement, category management best practices, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire through influential leadership, fostering high-performing teams.
• Exemplary multitasking and organisational skills, enabling effective management of multiple priorities.
• Tertiary qualification (Business, Finance / Procurement, Marketing or Retail).
