What you’ll do:
We're hiring a Facilities Coordinator for our Dandenong Distribution Centre. You'll be responsible for maintaining building services, ensuring safety and compliance, and managing contractors. You'll also oversee the performance of technical and material handling equipment to meet high standards and cost targets.
Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance and upgrade needs
- Manage and document all preventative maintenance activities
- Ensure proper functioning of security, CCTV, and fire safety systems
- Review and adjust maintenance plans with the National Facilities Manager
- Provide on-call support and manage after-hours emergencies
- Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to deliver cost-effective maintenance aligned with business goals
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing industry
- Experience in Facilities/Maintenance Management (preferred)
- Involvement in Business Unit Review, CSO compliance, and audits
- Tracking and management of budgets and cost goals
- Expertise in maintenance processes and infrastructure-related technical issues, considering cost-efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of warehousing processes
- Strong Excel, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication, ability to influence, customer focus, and autonomy in work.
- High school certificate and/or Trade qualification – Electrician, Plumbing, Carpentry, Fitter and Turner etc (desirable)
